Heart-stopping finale at the 49th ADAC TOTAL 24h Race on the Nordschleife: The victorious Manthey Porsche had a lead of just 8.817 seconds over the second-placed ROWE-BMW at the end. Places three to seven were separated by just 5.6 seconds.

A long interruption due to fog meant that only three and a half hours of driving time were left on the clock after the restart. As a result, the 24-hour race was decided by a sprint race.

In fact, the race set a new minus record with a driving time of just under ten hours. Once again, the weather conditions at the Nürburgring were to blame, as they made longer driving impossible.

In the end, it was close in many of the 24 different classes: Whether Porsche Cayman Cup, production cars up to 2,000 cc with turbo, specials up to 2,600 cc with turbo and up to 4,000 cc with turbo, GT4 or TCR: Here, the decisions for victory were very close.

The supporting programme was once again top-class: For the 30th time, the young and classic cars started in the 3h Classic race, the Touring Car World Cup was there for the seventh time and the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring, Germany's oldest and largest mass sports series, opened the racing action on Thursday morning as usual. The action was rounded off by a premiere: the first appearance of the touring car legends from the former DTM.

This year, the 24h Yearbook once again highlights in detail the events in all 24h classes as well as the races of the supporting programme and the practice sessions. Hundreds of photos - supplemented by many tables and statistics - round off the book.
